Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival our representative gives you a warm welcome,
then assists and escorts you to the respective hotel. Nightlong stay in
Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi - Agra
On early morning our tour representative picks you up from hotel and
transfers to the railway station to board the superfast luxurious
air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast onboard. After arriving at Agra our
tour guide takes you to the profound and the glorious symbol of love, the
Taj Mahal. Then proceed to the red-sandstone structure of Agra Fort. After
the sightseeing, our representative transfers you to the hotel for overnight
stay.
» Taj Mahal - Regarded as one of the seven wonders
of the world, this extravagant monument was built by the fifth Mughal
emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate the untimely demise of his beloved wife
Mumtaz Mahal. It took around 17 years to complete and 20,000 men laboured
for this day and night.
» Agra fort - The rusty and majestic red-sandstone
fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction
was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566 and later completed by Shah Jahan.
There are various historic buildings inside the fort that include the
Diwan-i-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone
where the Emperor listen to public petitions. At the Diwan-i-Khas (hall of
private audience) one can see several marble pavilions and the emperor used
to receive foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.
Day 03 : Agra - Jaipur Via FatehPur Sikri
Breakfast at hotel. Our travel guide takes you for some further sightseeing
in the city of Agra. Return to the hotel for a lavish buffet lunch in a five
star hotel in Agra. After lunch drive to Jaipur and on your way, visit the
ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri.
» Fatehpur Sikri - Now a World Heritage Site, the
ancient city Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Agra under the reign of
Akbar. Akbar had built this city in 1569 with an aim to make the capital of
his empire but the water shortage had forced to change his plan. There are
several red sandstone structure inside the old city, which are not to
missed.
Upon arrival at Jaipur, our representative transfers you to the hotel for
check-in. A nightlong stay in Jaipur.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Delhi
After
breakfast, our tour guide takes you to visit some popular sights of the Pink
City of Jaipur including the Amber Fort, City Place, Palace of Winds and the
Jantar Mantar.
» Amber Fort - Built during the rule of Raja Man
Singh, the Amber Fort complex houses some magnificent marble and red
sandstone buildings. This is an excellent example of Rajputana architecture.
» City Palace - This huge palace complex consists
of several beautiful buildings with a series of courtyards, gardens.
» Palace of Winds or Hawa Mahal - Built in 1799,
Hawa Mahal is one of the must visit places Jaipur. Its delicately carved
sandstone windows and balconies are its prime attractions. The windows were
for royal ladies to see the street activities.
» Jantar Mantar - This observatory was built by
Maharaja Jai Singh and houses various old instruments which were used to
measure the movement of stars.
After visiting the above tourists places, in the evening our representative
transfers you to the railway station to board the train to Delhi. Dinner in
the train. Upon arrival in Delhi, the company representative assists and
escorts you to the hotel for night stay.
Day 05 : Departure Transfer
After breakfast, our travel guide assists you in visiting some famous
tourist places of the capital city Delhi. Visit the tallest stone tower
Qutub Minar, India Gate, Red Fort and the grand government buildings, the
President House, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial(Raj Ghat). Also visit Laxmi Narayan
Temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Later our representative transfers
you to the airport to catch flight for your onward destination.
