Pushkar Fair

 

Tour Highlights - For twelve days in the month of Kartik, Pushkar is transformed into spectacular fair ground. The fair is overwhelming in its magnitude and in its visual impact. Thousands of pilgrims come to bathe in the holy waters of the Pushkar Lake. Cultural programs, folk dances, folk music, camel races form a part of every day entertainment.

Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Our representative at the airport welcomes you and then transferred to the hotel in a private car.Rest & overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: New Delhi: Old & the new facts
In the first half we visit the Ancient (OLD) parts of Delhi covering the Red fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. We drive towards Connaught place - the blooming heart of New Delhi via Raj Ghat. The second half takes you through the Modern (NEW) parts of Delhi covering the India Gate, President House and Sansad Bhavan. The evening gives you the option of enjoying the Sound & light show at the red fort or at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (Sightseeing)
Drive to Agra. Arrival and check-in at the Hotel. After lunch city tour covering Red Fort - a visit to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here. Enjoy the beauty of Taj Mahal - at the time of sunset, a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Evening free for independent activities.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur (Enroute Fatehpur Sikri)
After breakfast visit Itmad-ud-daula's Tomb - The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elephants overshadow the Taj. Afternoon drive to Jaipur Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, The Famous Shrine of Seikh Salim Chisti, Akbars Fort, and Panch Mahal. Drive to Jaipur. Arrival and check-in at Hotel. Evening free for independent Activities.

Day 05: Jaipur (Sightseeing)
In the morning drive to Jaipur. Take an excursion Amber fort with joy ride on an Elephant. City Palace - occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory - An observatory with some rare qualities to its credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal. Evening to explore Markets of Pink City.

Day 06: Jaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast drive to Pushkar (146 Kms). Arrive Pushkar and check in at the hotel. Morning to enjoy the festivities of Pushkar. Lunch at the hotel. Rest of the day free to enjoy Pushkar festivities.

Day 07: Pushkar
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day enjoy the Pushkar fair. Participate in Camel races, turban-tying competition or watch the folk dances with folk music and songs. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 08: Pushkar - Ajmer - Jaipur
Another day to enjoy the Pushkar fair. Also visit Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple - The only exquisite temple -Lord Brahma, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple - Dedicated to Lord Shiva. After lunch Drive to Ajmer (18 Kms), visit Holy Shrine of Seikh Salim Chisti.

Day 09: Jaipur - Delhi
Early Morning we drive back to Delhi and you are dropped at the Airport for onward journey.
