Day 1 Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and check in to your deluxe hotel, centrally located at Windsor Place, between India Gate and Connaught Place.
Day 2 Delhi
Your day begins with a rickshaw tour through Old Delhi. Visit the Red Fort and the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat. After exploring the lively Chandni Chowk market, continue through New Delhi to Emperor Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar, a beautiful 12th century complex of red and buff sandstone. At tonight's dinner, savor the rich flavors of Indian cuisine and enjoy a performance of Indian Classical Dance.
Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur
Travel to Jaipur, the lovely "Pink City" of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, settle in to your elegant hotel, set amidst 25 acres of gardens. The balance of the day is free - relax poolside or venture forth to explore the city's old bazaars.
Day 4 Jaipur
Enjoy a morning visit to the Amber Palace, former capital of the Rajput kingdom. Ride on brightly caparisoned elephants and enter the Palace through the impressive high gateways, specially designed for these enormous broad-backed animals. After lunch, your city tour includes the art-filled Palace Museum, the lovely Palace of the Winds, and Jantar Mantar, an accurate observatory built in 1726.
Day 5 Jaipur - Agra
Drive through the colorful Rajasthani countryside to Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" built in the 16th century. Enjoy 2 nights at the luxurious Jaypee Palace, surrounded by 25 acres of landscaped grounds, shaded walkways and dancing fountains.
Day 6 Agra
Today's sightseeing includes the imposing Agra Fort, colorful city bazaars and an intimate look into everyday life in India. The highlight, of course, is a visit to the Taj Mahal, Emperor Shah Jahan's immortal memorial to his wife. The balance of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 7 Agra - Delhi - Varanasi
Drive to Delhi this morning for your flight to Varanasi, one of the most ancient cities in the world and the center of the Hindu faith. Upon arrival, visit Sarnath - the spot where Buddha delivered his first sermon and now also home to an excellent archaeological museum. Enjoy 2 nights at the comfortable Radisson Hotel, in the heart of the city.
Day 8 Varanasi
At dawn, take a boat ride on the Ganges River and see thousands of Hindus descend to the holy waters of the Ganges for purification - a powerful sight. Following breakfast, enjoy a tour of this ancient, spiritual city. The afternoon is free to explore and shop at your own pace.
Day 9 Varanasi - Kathmandu
Enjoy a morning at leisure before your flight to Nepal - a mountain kingdom at the top of the world. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your deluxe city resort hotel, set on 37 carefully tended acres with majestic mountain views.
Day 10 Kathmandu - Chitwan
A morning flight brings you to Chitwan National Park at the foot of the might Himalayas. Settle in to your comfortable lodgings, ideally situated for excellent game viewing. Enjoy an afternoon safari in search of the rare and elusive one-horned Asian rhinoceros. With good timing, you may see tigers, leopards, wild ox and elephants.
Day 11 Chitwan National Park
A morning flight brings you to Chitwan National Park at the foot of the might Himalayas. Enjoy morning and afternoon jungle safaris, traveling through the National Park on an elephant or in a 4WD jeep. There's also the option to hike with a naturalist in search of wildlife.
Day 12 Chitwan - Kathmandu
Following breakfast, fly to Kathmandu and check in to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 13 Kathmandu
Today's touring includes colorful Durbar Square to see Hamuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter and Patan, an ancient city filled with Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. In the afternoon, explore the Kathmandu Valley beginning with Bhadgaon, one of Nepal's ancient capitals. You also visit the Boudhanath Stupa, venerated by Nepali and Tibetan Buddhists, and Pashupatinath - one of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world.
Day 14 Kathmandu - Pokhara
After breakfast drive to Pokhara which will take about 6 hours drive and is about 200 Km. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtail summit rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and magic. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu, it has much more tropical feel to it, a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in its environ. Indeed, the valley surrounding pokhara is home to thick forest, gushing rivers, emerald lakes and of course, the world famous views of the Himalayas. Overnight in at Resort.
Day 15 Pokhara
Wake up early to watch the gorgeous peaks during sunrise. After the marvelous view have breakfast and proceed for sightseeing of Pokhara, a charming city. Enjoy the colorful town of Pokhara valley, Davis Fall, Mahendra Cave, the famous Seti George and some beautiful temples like Bindhabasini Temple, Pokhara Museum. Evening enjoy Boat ride at lake Phewa. Overnight in at Resorts.
Day 16 Pokhara - Kathmandu - Nagarkot
After a breakfast drive to Kathmandu and then Nagarkot ( Altitude 2175M) is by far the most popular. Located 30Km east of Kathmandu, Nagarkot has developed into favorite weekend getaway among these seeking mountain views in comfort and quiet. At sunrise, the Himalayan range, stretching from Daulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty. Day 17 Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu
Morning Sunrise excursion proceed for breakfast and drive to Kathmandu Via Bhaktapur - the oldest of the three cities of Kathmandu valley and regarded as open-air museum due to the mediaeval time art and architecture scattered all around. The famous being Durbar Square, five tiered Nyatapola Temple, Golden Temple etc. Afternoon visit Patan City visit Patan and Tibetan Resettlement Camp. Overnight in a Hotel Hyatt Regency
Day 18 Kathmandu - Delhi
Enjoy a relaxing morning before your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
