Bordoibum Beelmukh Bird Sanctuary
Established in: 2003; proposed as a sanctuary.
Description:
Bordoibum Beelmukh is also a proposed Bird sanctuary.It is situated at 50-55 metres above sea level in Dhemaji district. Bordoibam was formed after the great earthquake of 1950 when the river Subansiri changed its course.
Wildlife:
It is good place for birwatching with quite a few species seen at close proximity including Adjutant Storks, Fishing Eagle etc. are found here.
